Projects
Movement as Method is an ongoing body of research that uses endurance running as a framework for drawing, painting and public-facing projects.
Running operates as fieldwork. Routes are experienced physically and translated through observation, repetition and reduction. Rather than depicting landscape, the work investigates how movement generates structure, and how repeated movement can produce enclosure, containment and spatial tension.
The projects below document distinct phases within this research, tracing a progression from trajectory and compression toward questions of space, absence and form.
