Art in Motion | HOKA Public Activation, Glasgow

Art in Motion is a workshop developed with HOKA and Achilles Heel exploring movement as a generative structure for mark-making.

Participants begin with a structured run through the city before returning directly to the studio to translate the physical experience of pace, resistance and rhythm into marks on paper.

The process prioritises immediacy and reduction in mark-making. Rather than illustrating the run, the aim is to register how repeated movement reorganises perception and structure.

The session formed part of an evening event bringing together runners, artists and the wider community around shared movement and making.
